Over 2 years ago, with no expectation, I posted my first TikTok on KeeanSocial.

Prior to this, I had been a creator in several niches, from finance, to fishing, to reporting news.

While building these accounts, I’d learned what I needed to know to be a successful content creator, but never truly found passion in the videos I was making.

When I started KeeanSocial all of that changed.

What began as sharing my learnings from my first account to reach 100k followers, quickly turned into a full-fledged business and career in working alongside insanely talented creators, brands, and startups. 

But, what happened next was something that I never thought was in the cards for me and is truly a testament of what one video can do.

Almost exactly one year ago to this day, because of my content, I had the opportunity to move to Los Angeles all the way from a town in Connecticut with just 5,000 people.

And thanks to a few crazy friends, this insanely hectic city I now call home, and content creation - my life has transformed.

And once again, making one video has been the catalyst.

Over the past few months, I’ve posted 60 reels on a page dedicated to my surfing journey - all of which started with one.

In that time, the account has scaled to 9,000 followers, growing anywhere from 70 to 200 or more followers a day, with that number increasing consistently over the past 30 days. 

Not only that, but I am potentially moments away from partnering with my dream brand.
