Get More Followers or More Views

There are two types of content.

The type that gets you more followers…

and the type that gets you more views.

In the past year, I’ve dedicated hundreds of hours to watching and reviewing other people’s content.

During that time, I’ve picked up on a handful of very common patterns among successful content.

Here are two of them.

If you want to get a lot of views, your content needs to be highly entertaining and have mass appeal.

By mass appeal I mean, something that you and a friend might both watch, even if you have different interests.

Making the audience curious is the easiest way to do this.

But, there’s one very apparent problem with entertaining content.

It doesn’t convert to followers at a high rate.

You might get 1 million views, and 2,000 new followers.

So, if you want followers fast, there’s a much more lucrative option.

Education.

If people consider you valuable, they’re much more likely to follow.

Both types of content have their own advantages and disadvantages, which I’ll get into in another email.
